ABOUT
Charley, Chris and Greg met at the Comedy Clubhouse as member's of the One Group Mind ensemble of long form improvisers that studied and performed on the stage at the Comedy Clubhouse, in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood. Rejoicing in their chemistry on the stage, they started performing long form improv as a trio called Tragic Mike. As an improv group, their style explores the gamut of emotion to mine the comedic gold of the human or inhuman experiences.
As producers, they strive to create shows that bring comedy and live entertainment in an array of forms to keep you guessing and excite all your senses.
Tragic Mike invites you to enjoy the fact that life is absurd, funny, sexy and wonderful and there are many art forms that shine a light on these truths in their own ways.
As we're all faced with life's many wonders and tragedies, let's party!
CHARLEY ARKSEY
Charley Arksey is an actor, writer, creator based out of Chicago. He has trained at world class comedy institutions, including Second City, iO Chicago, Comedy Sportz, the Annoyance Theatre, and the Comedy Clubhouse. He is the co-owner of 2hitmen Productions, the co-creator of Joe & Ark: A Green Screen Sketch Show, and a proud ensemble member of the improv team Tragic Mike. Greg Delany Walker is an actor, writer and teacher based in Chicago. He trained as an actor in his homeland of Canada at Concordia University in Montréal, receiving a BFA in Theatre Performance and later received an MFA in Acting from the University of Iowa. He co-founded and acted with Lifelong Productions in Montréal to stage dark, comedic plays. Since arriving in Chicago, he has trained with iO and the Comedy Clubhouse's One Group Mind Guild. He has performed with Lifeline Theatre, Improv Playhouse, One Group Mind. Now, he is proud to be a part of Tragic Mike.
